Love Adrift

Qin Yue, the heiress of the Qin Group, hides her true identity and even turns against her mother to marry her penniless boyfriend, Zhao Lei. During her pregnancy, she faces complications due to the baby’s abnormal position. While preparing for delivery at a private hospital, Zhao Lei’s so-called "brother," Xu Yan, claims that Qin Yue is just being dramatic—accusing her of seeking luxury and feeding her vanity. Influenced by Xu Yan, Zhao Lei insists on transferring Qin Yue to a smaller, inferior hospital, escalating tensions between them. At this critical moment, Qin Feng, Qin Yue’s father, arrives with lavish gifts upon hearing about his daughter’s impending delivery. However, Zhao Lei and Xu Yan mock and question Qin Feng’s credibility—until three powerful business tycoons (Jin, Hua, and Huang), who rushed over to curry favor with Qin Feng, confirm his identity. By then, it’s too late: Qin Yue has already suffered a miscarriage and divorced Zhao Lei. Filled with regret and desperation, Zhao Lei resorts to vile tactics, spreading lies online that Qin Yue and her father "heartlessly killed the child," sparking a vicious backlash. Qin Feng strikes back decisively, gathering evidence and reporting the case to the police. In the end, Zhao Lei and Xu Yan are convicted and sentenced for their crimes.
